Abstract

1,155,585. Spray carburetters. JUNKERS FLUGZEUG-UND MOTORENWERKE G.m.b.H. June 23, 1966 [June 23, 1965], No.28105/66. Heading F1B. A fuel regulating valve 13 is controlled by a diaphragm 6 subject on opposite sides to the pressures at two spaced apart points of a passage 4 by-passing the throttle valve 2. The fuel flow is varied by a valve 9 operated conjointly with the valve 2, the force on the diaphragm 6 being balanced by the fuel pressure differential across orifice 8 acting on a diaphragm 7. The fuel supply is varied by a cone 18 controlling the cross-section of the inlet end of the by-pass 4, which cone may be controlled in accordance with engine speed, air or engine temperature, or atmospheric pressure.
