Abstract
1,175,509. Pure fluid amplifier. HONEYWELL Inc. Aug. 1, 1968 [Aug. 11, 1967], No.36688/68. Heading G3H. A fluid device comprises a pair of proportional amplifiers 20, 30 fed with differential signals at 26, 36 and having their control passages 23, 32 connected in parallel and fed through a valve 39 which controls the signal gain at outputs 25, 34. Outputs 24, 35 may provide negative feedback to a third proportional amplifier 11 which receives differential signals through conduits 52, 53 and which feeds amplifiers 20, 30 through conduits 26, 36. In a modification Fig. 2 (not shown) amplifier 11 is replaced by a differential comparator (61). In another modification Fig.3 (not shown) valve 39 is replaced by a fourth proportional amplifier, the outputs of which are connected in parallel to control passages 22, 33 and 23, 32 respectively.
