Abstract

1295885 Toy targets BRUNSWICK CORP 2 Feb 1970 [14 Feb 1969] 4824/70 Heading A6S [Also in Division H4] In an indoor archery range, photoelectric means 48 are provided to detect where the arrow hits the target (see Division H4). The target is projected or painted onto rubber or vinyl strips 22 through which the arrows pass. On striking wall 28 of netting or open ended tubes the arrows fall on to conveyor 30 and thence to conveyor 41 which carries them to a quiver at the firing line. The position at which the arrow strikes the target is signalled to a facsimile target at the firing line which indicates the score.
