Abstract

1332588 Piezo crystal mountings SIEMENS AG 13 Aug 1971 [14 Aug 1970] 38037/71 Heading H1E The inner ends of the usual longitudinal supporting members 5 in a container mounting for a quartz resonator, are soldered into metallized bores in a metallized plate 6 having peripheral projections 8 which engage the wall 9 of the container. The members 5 are insulated from each other and from the container by removal of parts of the metallization to form one or more insulating strips 7. A standard transistor housing is used for the container and the supports 5 may be supply leads extending through the base of the housing or they may consist of relatively thick pins attached to the stumps of the supply leads. The quartz resonator (not shown) is attached to the supports 5 by short lateral members in a conventional manner.
