Abstract
1338873 Cabinets; mounts for films &c J OZEKI 24 Feb 1972 [28 Aug 1971 10 Feb 1972] 8494/72 Headings A4B A4H and A4X A cabinet for storing films 10 or the like comprises an outer casing 2 carrying hinged doors 3, 4 and an inner box 7 with an open vertical end 8, the box 7 being mounted within the casing 2 on vertical shafts 9 so that the open end 8 of the box 7 may be swung from a position within the casing 2 in which the open end 8 faces a side wall of the casing 2 to an accessible position outside the casing 2. The films 10 are guided by rails 7a in the box 7 and may be moved out for viewing in front of lamps 6 carried by the door 4. The box 7 may have a closure flap 11 which hinges downwardly, as in Fig.4A, or upwardly Fig.6A (not shown). In the latter case the flap is provided with larger rails (11b) Fig.6B (not shown) for suspending the films 10. Colour slides 14, Figs.4A, 4B, may be carried in pockets 14a or a filing sheet 13 with apertures 13a engaged by hooks 15 on a film-holding sheet 12. Alternatively, Fig.5A, the film holding sheet 12 includes L-section flanges 12a which locate a transparent sheet 12b for covering transparencies 16, e.g. X-ray pictures, fixed to the translucent plastics holding sheet 12.
