1374301 Catalyst structure S A E S GETTERS SpA 3 Nov 1971 [3 Nov 1970] 51139/71 Heading B1F A catalyst structure with improved heating/ cooling arrangements, e.g. having a plan as in Fig. 7, comprises metal sheets 52, 54, having catalyst particles harder than the metal partially embedded in both sides of the sheets, the sheets making good heat exchange contact with cylindrical members 53, 55 for heating and/or cooling by fluid passing through the annular spaces between cylindrical members 55, 24 and 11, 53. Fig. 13 shows how good contact can be made in another embodiment. Fig. 17 shows another arrangement of a single sheet formed by bending a sheet at a plurality of pairs of depressions 123 and 121, Fig. 20.
