Abstract
1383405 Display stands E H SCHWEIZER 8 June 1972 [24 June 1971] 26821/72 Heading A4T A unit for displaying containers containing tape cartridges comprises a receptacle 11; at least one substantially quadrangular holder unit 1, the/or each holder unit Figs. 1 and 2 (not shown) comprising a tray internally provided with boundary and support means providing a plurality of compartments for receiving the containers in rows, a cover member having a peripheral shape corresponding substantially to that of the tray, and having an edge hingedly connected to a respective edge of the tray so that it is hingedly movable between a closed and at least one open position with respect to the tray, and locking means for locking the cover in the closed position; the tray and the top of the cover being transparent; and co-operating means provided on the receptacle and the/or each holder unit so that the holder units may be tilted for inspection of both front and back, and to permit detachment of any unit, independently of any other, from the receptacle. The hinge may project from the side of the holder unit to form pins which engage in vertical grooves 14, and these grooves may be formed in a recessed portion of the wall of the receptacle. The receptacle 11 preferably has a single leg 12, as shown.
