Abstract
1389450 Shower assemblies WALKER CROSWELLER & CO Ltd 8 Nov 1972 [11 Nov 1971] 52334/71 Heading A4N A shower assembly comprises a spray head 1 mounted on a hollow member 2 provided with a passageway 10 for fluid, a bracket member 5 adapted to be mounted on a wall etc., and a connection member 4 including a spigot 22 extending from a transverse partition 16 and co-operating with a recess in the bracket member 5, a recess for the introduction of one end of a supply pipe 7, and an integral or separable threaded spigot member 3. The pipe 7 is arranged transverse to the axis of the member 4 vertically above or below it and includes a constriction 20 located adjacent an inlet port 18 of the member 4. The bracket is mounted on the wall 6 by a hidden screw 28 and is provided with ribs (29), Fig.8 (not shown) which engage a circumferential groove (23) Fig.4 (not shown) and axial slots (24) in the manner of a bayonet fitting for removal, the members being a snap fit on assembly.
