Abstract
1441565 Lighters RONSON CORP 20 Jan 1975 [21 Jan 1974] 2473/75 Heading F4F A lighter comprises two assembly parts 1 and 2, detachably secured together, the first part 2 constituted by a hollow portion defining a fuel reservoir and a cover plate 16 fixed to the hollow portion carrying a burner valve 18, an inlet valve 20 and a burner valve actuating arm 30 and the second part 1 mounting a flint 54 and flint wheel 58 and a manually operable actuator button 70, the two parts being so formed that the second forms a cover for the first and when detached access is permitted for refuelling and reflinting the lighter. The second part includes a cylinder 52 which fits into a socket 62 provided in the first part and through a hole 38 in the arm 30, which cylinder contains the spring-loaded flint which is accessible through a screwed end piece 59. The two parts are attached by projections on one part engaging grooves in the other. A cover 90 is provided for the second part.
