Abstract
1457357 Sound insulating structures ASAHI KASEI KOGYO KK 24 May 1974 [24 May 1973] 23363/74 Heading E1W [Also in Division F2] A sound insulating structure comprises a wall 1, a plurality of spaced parallel ribs 2 across one surface thereof and a corrugated cladding 4 applied over the ribbed surface and having a plurality of apertures 3 therein. The spaces defined by the ribs wall and cladding may be filled with glass wool and closed by an edge rib 5. The wall 1 may be concrete, iron or aluminium and the cladding is preferably metal, and may be laminated.
