Abstract
1466796 Valves GENERAL ELECTRIC CO 11 April 1974 [26 April 1973] 16279/74 Heading F2V In a valve for connecting a pressure sensitive device to either a pressure source or a dump tank a first valve member 21 co-operates with a seat 31 on a second valve member 35 to control the communication between the source and the device and the second valve member 35 cooperates with a seat 39 to control communication between the device and dump tank. A piston 17 actuates both valve members, the second via lost-motion, and is moved by the pressure in chamber A which is either connected to the source or to a drain 59 via a solenoidoperated valve 55. The device is connected to the dump tank before the valve member 35 unseats and before the valve member 21 seats by passages 71, 75 and chamber E.
