1522548 Magnetic bulk tape erasers AMOS OF EXETER Ltd 3 May 1977 [28 May 1976] 22374/76 Heading G5R A bulk eraser comprises an E-section electromagnet built up of laminations of silicon-iron with an energizing coil 4 on one outer limb 1 which is chamfered inwards to leave a relatively narrow tip Z, so that the magnetic flux from the limb 1 is directed substantially entirely to the central limb 3.
