1525311 Ignition systems SOC NATIONALE D’ETUDE ET DE CONSTRUCTION DE MOTEURS D’AVIATION 16 Jan 1976 [17 Jan 1975] 01839/76 Heading F1B An ignition system for an I.C. engine, in the combustion chamber of which post-combustion is obtained by introducing additional air near to an electric ignition arc produced by an oscillator, Fig. 1 (not shown), controlled by the shown circuit which initiates the ignition arc in accordance with both a signal from a control sensor C 1 , C 2 , C3, C4 for each cylinder and responsive to a member K 1 rotating with the engine and with an advance signal obtained from a speed sensor C 1 ‘ and an inlet manifold depression sensor C 1 «, and which terminates the arc in accordance with a signal from a function generator G 1 controlled by the speed sensor C 1 ‘. As shown, a monostable B 1 is triggered to initiate the ignition arc by a monostable B 2 , itself triggered by ignition advance generators G2, G3 responsive to signals from speed sensor C 1 ‘ and inlet manifold depression sensor C 1 » respectively, and acting on a trigger device T 2 via a summation device E.
